Feb 2008 -- We have chosen a new name! We will soon officially call ourselves Ashley River Presbyterian Church, PCA. This name will help us better identify with our area of ministry as our new building is just 900 yards from the headwaters of the Ashley River.

Jan 2008  -- We have a building contract, we are now completing the the plans for property layout, building design, financing, etc. We need God's direction in each and every step!

Nov 18 -- Faith Initiative goal met... Congregation voted to start the building process!

Oct 28 -- Faith Initiative Started: Seeking to raise $54,000 in the next twelve months! (Done!)

May 20 -- Congregation unofficially approved an initial plot plan and concept.

May 6 -- Congregation approved our annexation into Summerville.

Please be in prayer for us as we begin this exciting journey of moving forward in faith!

We are building a facility that will meet our ministry needs and will historically fit architecturally with the low country. It will look something like this. Visit www.limehousevillage.com to view the neighborhood and historical community flavor where people go about life in community.   

Remember, this is a God-sized project and it is doomed to fail unless God is in it -- this is one way of how God will stretch us and grow our faith!

• Pray that OCC will not lose focus on God's mission of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission as we construct this building
• Pray for God to provide the resources through His people in His perfect timing
• Pray about YOUR part in this building project
• Pray for wisdom and a buyer for the Shady Lane property in God's perfect timing
